Social Environments and Multiple Social Roles

This research considers how the combination of experiences in work and family roles influence adult mental and physical health. A new line of research focuses on adolescents' expectations for their future work and family roles. Also included here are papers addressing the effects of social environments, particularly the social environment associated with one's work role, on health.
